A 20-year warranty applies against any material or manufacturing defect on polyvinyl chloride components and extruded aluminum, under normal use and service.

A 10-year warranty applies to non-uniform discoloration as long as it is uniformly exposed to the sun and natural elements.

A 10-year decreasing warranty of 10% per year applies against peeling, cracks, blistering, non-uniform discoloration (no more than 5 delta units) of the paint.

Sealed units installed in windows only are warranted for a period of 15 years (lowe argon) against the formation of films or dust deposits between the two sheets of glass if they are caused by lack of waterproofing of the joint and if they constitute an overall obstacle to visibility.

A one-year warranty applies against spontaneous breakage. The breakage must be on the inside of the thermos and there must be no point of impact.

A 10-year warranty applies on the hardware and on the weatherstrips incorporated in the products, against any manufacturing defect making them unusable, and this, under normal conditions of use.

A one-year warranty applies to the frames of nets against any manufacturing defect attributable to the materials. This warranty does not apply to the net that has been split or bored, or to the deformation of the frame of the mosquito nets that were forced.

During the first year, Les Fenêtres Québécoises Inc. will pay the labor costs for the replacement or repair of any material or manufacturing defect from Les Fenêtres Québécoises., if the products are installed according to the rules, square and plumb. In subsequent years, Les Fenêtres Québécoises. will provide, free of charge, replacement parts under warranty. The costs of labor and transportation will be excluded.

Any product found to be defective under this warranty will be repaired or replaced, but this warranty applies only to the replacement or repair of defective parts manufactured by Les Fenêtres Québécoises Inc. The parts will then be replaced by similar products. No other claim is receivable under this.
Under the terms of this warranty, any repaired or exchanged part will be warranted for the remaining period of the original warranty.

The warranty does not apply to normal maintenance work, replacement of standard maintenance parts, breakage of mosquito nets and frost or surface condensation caused by excessive humidity.

The 15-year warranty on sealed units is limited to 3 mm lowe argon glass, therefore excluding triple thermos, 4-5 or 6 mm thermos, thermos having a special shape, tempered glass and thermos with non-standard tiles. Their guarantee is limited to 10 years.

This warranty, effective January 1, 2012, is the only valid and applicable warranty. Products previously sold by Les Fenêtres Québécoises Inc. are covered by the warranty applicable on the date of sale of the said products.

At the time of any complaint, a copy of invoice will be necessary to validate the guarantee.

After-sales services are from Monday to Thursday, between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm, and on Friday afternoons only.

A lifetime warranty applies to any material and manufacturing defect (warping, cracking).

A lifetime warranty applies on the mechanism and a 10-year warranty on the finish. A one-year warranty applies to the mechanism of electronic deadbolts. This warranty does not cover scratches and abrasions.

Stained glass, silkscreen, grooved, clear windows, sashes are guaranteed 10 years against the formation of films or dust deposits between the 2 windows caused by the lack of tightness of the seal. Sealed units with integrated blinds are guaranteed for 5 years. (Refer to the warranty of each company such as Vitre-Art, Verre-select, Novatech, etc.)

A 5-year warranty applies to PVC mouldings (unpainted) used to hold sealed glass units in steel doors against desoldering, excessive curling, yellowing and cracking.

Painted PVC mouldings are not covered by this warranty. Aluminum moulding is highly recommended, and a 10-year warranty will apply on it.

A one-year warranty applies to the weatherstripping, the door broom and the PVC coating, and this against any manufacturing defect.

During the first year, Les Fenêtres Québécoises Inc. will pay the labor costs for the replacement or repair of any manufacturing defect or material from Les Fenêtres Québécoises Inc., if the products are installed according to the rules, square and plumb. In subsequent years, Les Fenêtres Québécoises Inc. will provide, free of charge, replacement parts under warranty. The costs of labor and transportation will be excluded.

Any alteration or attempted repair that may alter the door, any work done by the consumer and not the authorized manufacturer or subcontractor will automatically void this warranty.

Limitations

Damage caused by the result of handling and abuse, improper installation or lack of maintenance is not covered by this warranty.

Warp equal to or less than ¼” does not constitute a defect within the meaning of this warranty.

Infiltration of water or air caused by extreme weather conditions is not covered by this warranty.
